Here's the state of play just as the India continent runs up against Eurasia. The Lhasa block (with its flag) lies on the southern margin of Eurasia. But convergence continues. The Argand model suggests that the Indian continent slides underneath Eurasia - so Lhasa is not moved north. The Indentor model has the eurasia crust thickening so Lhasa will move north.
