The hillsides immediately above the Indus contain important outcrops for determining the structure of the margin of the Nanga Parbat massif. This view , looking SSW, is along strike of the prominent lithological banding and fabric. The viewpoint looks across the Raikhot valley onto a cliff section (400m visible height) which is crossed by the vehicle track up to Tato village.
This viewpoint locality also has exposures of the augen gneisses of the Nanga Parbat massif.
