This period has been especially focused on updating software used to predict the behavior of the monomeric silica in geothermal waters based in an old code carried out by Weres et al (1980). This task required gaining insight into the kinetics of silica polymerization (by searching for this information in different books and articles) and also producing some experiments to compare the results and chemical laws.
