The schistosity (S1) has been folded (F) and these folds verge to the left, indicating the emplacement sense (WNW) of the Moine Thrust (MT), which occurs just beneath this outcrop. A weak 2nd schistosity (S2) also can be seen, axial planar to the folds, at a low angle to S1. |
